Add groups to differentiated assignments

It would be nice to have the ability to choose groups in the dropdown for differentiated assignments.  That way, you could have separate deadlines for group projects within the same assignment.  And even better, you could add a student to a group if she needs extended time turning in an assignment!

rpeters3, don't read the original feature idea to see how this is getting implemented, check out the Product release notes where it actually states how this will be implemented - Differentiated Group Assignments. From the way it's worded and then explained it seems like it is what your teachers are wanting.

 @kona ​ Sorry, I may have been unclear. The release notes show that this will only work with group assignments - the functionality for teachers to use differentiated assignments and choose groups (instead of sections or individual students) is still missing - and that's the functionality our instructors have asked for. In this case, it doesn't fall into the accommodation thread either.

I think this is a great addition -- now, if only it were possible to give group members individual assignments within a group project, too.
