My homework assignments are always due by the start of next class (11:30 am). My classwork assignments are always due by the end of the day (11:59 pm). With the current account settings, I can only set one default due time. That leads to excessive scrolling for one type of assignment each time. I have the default due time at 11:30 am, and then have to reset the time for classwork each time.
In the assignments tab or course details, let teachers set default due times for each assignment category if they want to. You could have two options: set default due time for all assignments and set default due time per category. So it would still be one click in course details for teachers who don't want to itemize the due times. This would streamline the user experience!
