[Assignments] Option to Keep the Best Score Instead of Just the Last for Unlimited Attempts
Problem statement:
I use external tools with Canvas Assignments. Specificially, the Matlab Grader, where students submit multiple attempts and Grader sends all of the to Canvas. However, what often happens is after they get a 100%, they make a subsequent accidental submission, which may result in something as low as zero (e.g., their code breaks and doesn't run). The students then complain that: "how come, I had a 100% and now I have a zero?!". Instructor, in turn, has to go and manually fix these complaints in Canvas gradebook, which is a waste of time.
Proposed solution:
Canvas should provide an option to keep the BEST grade for multiple attempts within an assignment... It does this for Quizes, so why not for Assignments?
