[Dashboard] Course Dashboard/All courses- Allow for filtering by Term

Problem statement:

In higher education Instructors at times teach a very high number of courses in a given term. When a few semesters are gone the courses page gets very cluttered and makes it difficult to see which courses are live (especially when they are teaching the same courses again in the next semester with a different shell). This could also help students see past enrollments a bit better as well.

Proposed solution:

I would propose that a term filter be added to the dashboard and/or All courses page, this way Instructors and students could either choose to look at all terms, or use the drop down to find the term they are specifically looking for. Thank you for your idea submission.  While this idea is being reviewed, I did want to offer you at least a temporary solution for your problem.  If you use Chrome/Edge as your browser, you can install the Canvas LMS Mods browser extension, made by one of the community members here, to get this functionality for yourself.
