Digest e-mails as default for most Canvas Community Subscriptions

Canvas Community members can become quickly inundated by subscription notification e-mails resulting from replies to articles, blogs, ideas and the like. Can these be limited by default to be sent via a daily digest with an option to increase the frequency if the subscriber requests it? Otherwise, we end up with countless unread e-mails which eventually get deleted as it can become just too overwhelming.

@froelich Good idea! We've just changed the default to "Daily digest" on these content items:

New topics or articles posted in boards I subscribe to
New replies posted to content I subscribe to
Content using a label I subscribe to

Please note that the new defaults will now apply to any users who never switched their preferences from what had previously been the "Immediately" default.
