[Gradebook] Flagging Scores to be Non-droppable per student
Currently when a teacher creates a rule for assignment groups (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-create-rules-for-an-assignment-group/ta...) there is no way to flag a specific assessment to not be dropped for a specific student. For example, if a student is suspected of academic dishonesty, a professor might now want the rule to apply to that student for that specific exam. This would allow other students to still drop that specific assignment or exam.
My proposed solution would be to allow faculty the ability in the gradebook to have a specific assignment or exam not be dropped for a specific student. This could be accomplished in the dropdown menu in the gradebook or an option in the Speedgrader. Allowing this would provide a way for teachers to create rules to drop the lowest scores while still having some students complete certain assignments or exams. This might be beneficial for courses where a specific student need to demonstrate a certain skill set or pass a certain exam.
