[Gradebook] Improve Export Options
Problem statement:
Please improve the gradebook export. I am really surprised for such a widely used LMS that the export is not better organized with more options. I end up having to spend extra time importing, editing and organizing every time I export.
Here are other issues:
- Format: Why is exporting to Excel not an option? It is in other LMS. Yes, I know how to import a .csv file and not everyone uses Excel, but why not offer several options?
- Student names: The first and last names are exported in a single column? These should be separate for better sorting and management. I have to split them manually
- Extra columns: Why does it need to export 5 columns for every grade group? I end up deleting nearly all of them. Can't there be options to what extra columns are exported?
Proposed solution:
Add Excel format as an export option. Make the names export as separate first and last names. Reduce read only extra columns or make an option somewhere.
