[Gradebook] Pure Letter Grade and P/NP option as a drop down not linked to percentages

Problem statement:

We want to be able to submit a grade as a letter, not directly linked to percentages. We like to adjust for participation, attendance, and assistance issues. We make the decisions offline and would like to be able to adjust grades accordingly.

Proposed solution:

This could be handled as a drop down grade from A+ to D- and F, and also the option of pass/no pass. This would be a very simple solution for entering the grade.
