Currently, an Incomplete in the gradebook is set to a 0% of the grade for the assignment. While there are times when this is appropriate, often instructors what an Incomplete to count for a different value. For example, as an English instructor, I want my Missing assignments to be set at 0% and my Incomplete assignments to be set at 50%. At the moment, I have to change the grading away from Complete/Incomplete and manually add in each 50% for an assignment.
In the same way that Missing assignments can have a default grade other than zero, a course-level choice should allow Incomplete assignments to be set in the same manner.
