In the new enhanced Canvas Portfolio (currently in Feature Preview), if I create an evaluation portfolio for my students with the intention of marking it for either formative or summative assessment, one challenge is that I can not limit the file number and file types for each piece of evidence. There are numerous use cases for evaluation portfolios in which the instructor would like to limit these.
In evaluation portfolios, to each piece of evidence, add a setting via which the instructor can specify how many files the student can upload and what type, e.g., one Word .docx file, one .py file or two .ai files, etc.
