[Mobile - Canvas Student] To-Do List Items displaying for Graded Assignments
Problem statement:
Allow students to modify their To-Do list on the Canvas Student App.
Example:
- A student reported that an assignment continued to show on their to-do list on the Canvas Mobile app even though the instructor already gave them a grade for it. There was no available option to get rid of it.
- The instructor had set up the assignment to accept file uploads to give students an option of submitting. However, the submission was optional.
- The to-do list item finally disappeared when the student uploaded a submission (despite that a grade was previously given).
Proposed solution:
Give the Mobile app parity with the web browser version of Canvas to remove to-do list items; on a web browser, students can click the X to make the to-do item disappear from their dashboard.
