[New Quizzes] Allow teachers to see a "gradebook" for practice quizzes
I would like to see a "gradebook" for all practice quizzes, where I can see each student's performance across many practice quizzes. I have 27 practice quizzes in my class. They don't count toward the course grade. If I want to see how a student is doing on these, it is not feasible for me to open 27 quizzes, one at a time, and click "moderate quiz" for each. I need to see how ONE student is doing on MANY quizzes. The "moderate quiz" option only allows me to see how MANY students are doing on ONE quiz.
One workaround I tried was setting up graded quizzes instead of practice quizzes, and simply making the whole Quiz category in the gradebook worth 0%. This was effective in allowing students to take nightly quizzes that did not contribute to their final grade.
But it caused another problem: Once students take a Graded Quiz, they cannot view their answers anymore. I want my students to be able to review their answers before class, so Practice Quizzes are the better option for this.
I can envision 3 different possible solutions: 1. Add Practice Quiz scores to the existing Gradebook. Maybe make them gray or something to indicate that they don't contribute to the course grade. 2. Create a separate Gradebook just for practice quizzes. Here, instructors could view all practice quiz grades at once, across quizzes, and among students. 3. Create an option within Graded Quizzes that allows students to go back and view their answers before the quizzes are graded. (Ideally, they would also be able to edit their answers while viewing them.)
