[New Quizzes] Editing quiz points when using an existing quiz

Problem statement:

I frequently re-use my quizzes and like to adjust point totals to fit with the entire course point totals. It is very time consuming to individually edit each test question. For example, I am re-using a test from a previous professor who had assigned 6 or 8 points to each test question. However, I would like to assign 5 points to every single question.

Proposed solution:

Please create a way to bulk assign point totals to quiz questions. I would like to be able to go back into a quiz and make every question worth a certain amount of points, without having to individually edit every test question. This is very time consuming to have to edit test questions one at a time, when I need to do the same thing to every question.

hi @dv7001 -

Are you using Classic Quizzes or New Quizzes? With New Quizzes, you are able to determine the total points possible at the quiz level and have the points equally distributed based on the number of questions in the quiz itself.

While it's not the "bulk update" you requested, if you're using New Quizzes, it could be a solution to explore.
