To address this issue, there is a need for a feature that allows the convenor to set reminder notifications that alert all students as the quiz end time approaches, prompting them to begin the submission process. Currently, there are automatic warnings throughout the quiz in New Quizzes, which students report as "unnerving." Conversely, there are no warnings in Classic Quizzes, leaving students without any reminders to manage their submission process. A balanced solution, defined by the convenor according to their user experience needs, is required to ensure timely submissions without causing unnecessary stress. Scenario: A course convenor, Dr. Smith, observes that many students struggle to manage their time effectively during a 130-minute online quiz, often failing to upload their files and prepare for submission before the time limit expires. This results in incomplete submissions and students missing the end time for the quiz.
