I'm planning to give a daily quiz in each face-to-face class session for the upcoming semester. It will be a review of the previous lecture and any assigned reading and will be taken in class, not in Canvas. I need that repeating assignment to be posted on the student's calendar and added to the grade book. The assignment description will be the same for each class session. I'm looking for a quick way to reproduce the assignment without creating a new assignment for each class period. Using the copy option adds "Copy of" to the assignment title and leaves it on the same date. That could be dragged in the calendar to the appropriate date, but I'd have to change the title in each copy to remove "Copy of" creating an extra step in setting up each assignment.
Could there be an option when creating an assignment to repeat it, similar to repeating a calendar entry? "Repeats every MWF at 7:30 a.m. until May 5, 2026."
