[New Quizzes] Set common passcode for ALL quizzes

Problem statement:

I proctor all of my canvas quizzes in class. I use a passcode to help ensure that only students who are in class are actually taking the quiz. During class students are taking or retaking various quizzes (i.e they are NOT all taking the same quiz). At the moment I need to set passcodes individually for each quiz.

Proposed solution:

Let me set a common passcode for ALL quizzes that can be updated by me at any time.

While we appreciate your proposal, we also want to be transparent about the likelihood of something like this making it to production. In reviewing some of our recent feature proposals, unfortunately, this request was identified as one that the product team would not be able to include in their current or future plans. The functionality for passcodes is working as expected so that the passcodes would be different for each quiz.  These passcodes can be updated from the settings page for the quiz at any time.
