[New Quizzes] Time Between Attempts

Problem statement:

Students will take a quiz that allows multiple attempts, not like their grade, and immediately retake it without taking time to relax and re-review their notes/course materials.

Proposed solution:

Back when, WebCT had a setting that allowed professors to enter how long students had to wait between attempts (15 minutes, 1 hour, etc). Canvas should have such a setting. It would like to prohibit students from using another attempt until an hour or so has gone by. Thank you Dr Andrew Joseph Pegoda

Thank you for taking the time to share this idea with the Instructure Community! 

This feature is available in New Quizzes, within Settings. Instructors can enable a waiting period if there are multiple attempts available.

How do I manage settings for a quiz in New Quizzes?

Thank you! We don't have access to New Quizzes at UH so far. Will look for this option when the option for New Quizzes comes along.
