[Notifications] Resubmitted Discussion Replies
I (and many other faculty) allow students to resubmit their discussion board postings. This is important so all students see that there were some errors or misspoken ideas that are then corrected and made accurate. Currently, instructors do not receive notifications in the grade book that students have resubmitted a discussion board. This means I have to continually post announcements and place in the DB instructions that they have to email me when they resubmit so I don't miss it. It's a pain and unhelpful for both instructors and students. Just because a db is a connection with other students, does not mean they should not be allowed to correct any errors.
Make the grade book show when a discussion board is resubmitted. All other learning platforms do this (I work in several) and it seems an easy thing to do. This would greatly help both students and instructors, since many instructors allow students to fix their db postings.
