In the new enhanced Canvas Portfolio (currently in Feature Preview), if I create an evaluation portfolio for my students with the intention of marking it for either formative or summative assessment, the way it works is that I have to set up an assignment requiring a website URL, and the student needs to grab the Portfolio URL and submit it. I can set the due date for the assignment. The problem is that student can edit their portfolio after the due date for the assignment as these are different features.
Within evaluation portfolios, there should be a feature that allows instructors to add "Due date", similar to how it works for assignments.
