[Rich Content Editor] Search Feature (Ctrl + F) is Dysfunctional in the HTML View when RCE open in Full

Problem statement:

When searching for certain codes, or anything else, the Ctrl +F does not work in RCE when open in Full. To experience the issue follow these steps: 1- Create a 'Page' and add substantive content to it. Save. 2- Go to editing mode to open RCE. 3- Click on the diagonal two-headed arrow on the lower right corner of the RCE to open in Fullscreen. 4- Go to HTML mode using the < / > icon. 5- Search for a code or word(s) using the Ctrl + F option. You will see that the search function cannot find anything.

Proposed solution:

Please make it so the Ctrl + F search feature works when working in HTML in Fullscreen view of the RCE. I am an instructional designer and deal with html codes quite often for formatting issues. When editing 'Pages', many times I need to go to the Fullscreen view to see the whole page from a broader perspective (the diagonal two-headed arrow on the lower right corner of the RCE). This is also true for my collogues.

Hi @FarahKashef -

Thank you for taking the time to share this as an Idea! This sounds like something may not be functioning properly. Have you worked with Canvas Support? If you have and an agent can confirm that this is a feature request and not something that should be passed along to our engineering team, your thread will advance through the Ideas & Themes process.

Hi! If you are unable to provide an update regarding this idea by July 15, we will need to archive it to help the Community Team focus on current Ideas. If you need more time, that's okay too! Providing an update before that time would be helpful and appreciated.
