I would like to enable the feature to send an assignment comment to a whole group even though the assignment is individually graded. In the course I teach, CMMA340 (Video 2), the focus is on producing a television newscast. The makeup of this class includes students who are talented and skilled in some areas of television production, but not all. Each student brings different skill sets and deserves individual assessment in the group assignment. But it’s the whole group that is evaluated for their team performance. Glen Gummess, Ed.D. According to Canvas information, “ “Comments on group submissions that are not graded individually are sent to each member of the group.” I understand that, but just as a coach delivers messages to the whole team, even though one player throws pitches and another hits the ball, the instructor in Canvas should be able to address the whole team with a group comment. I use a hybrid style of instruction that combines classroom time with Canvas resources. The Speedgrader is a major player in this configuration. Thank you for your consideration, Glen Gummess, Ed.D.
