[Speedgrader] Problem displaying photo files/supplied photo files with comments in an assignment/speedgrader

Problem statement:

Students in the departments of photoshop, photography, ... need to load photos into Canvas as an assignment. The teacher wants to view and comment on these photos. However, displaying the photos sometimes gives a problem and the error message "Error while processing or retrieving the document" appears. The problem can only be solved by notifying the Instructure team so they can manually re-render the assignment including al submitted files of the students. The teacher also can't enter comments/feedback for the assignment.

Proposed solution:

Best solution would be that this problem can be solved structurally in Canvas so that it doesn't happen again. Another option could be to develop/implement a little tool for the canvas admins (or possibly for teachers?) that - upon identifying this problem - they can immediately re-render the assignment themselves and then work through evaluating the assignments in speedgrader.
