[Student View] Clone Student Scores Under "Test Student"
From Gradebook (teacher facing) it is time consuming (and can be confusing) to take real student scores and type them into "Test Student" in order to see which series of assignments are going to make the most impact for students towards the end of a term. I like to provide students with priority assignments to get to where they need/want to go.
While staying in Gradebook (not switching to Student View), from the Test Student line, a drop down exists of the roster for that section or course. Teachers could then select the student they would like to adjust scores to without affecting the live grades. Once student is selected, it replaces "Test Student" with "Jane Smith" for example and all the scores are cloned from that students current work/progress.
