practice new quizzes that work with the module rule of "score at least"
Currently a practice quiz copied from classic quizzes to new quizzes is automatically set-up with zero points and not showing up in the gradebook. The problem is that classic quizzes could be used as module requirements based on their scores, and practice quizzes in new quizzes have zero points. With zero points, score at least cannot work as a module rule. Adding points back is only possible by converting the practice quiz to an actual quiz and showing it in the gradebook. Assignments in the gradebook are subject to the late penalty, which can also make meeting the module rule impossible.
The proposed solution is to allow the canvas assignments paired to practice new quizzes to have scores, so that the module rule can read the score, regardless of whether or not the quiz shows up in the gradebook.
