One of the coolest parts of my job is working with the variety of institutions utilizing Canvas in such unique and different ways. A feature that comes up frequently in conversations is the recommendation of using the Groups feature. I like to call it the "hidden gem" inside of Canvas because it can be used in the traditional sense like group assignments and collaboration, but if folks are open to thinking outside the box, it can be used for so much more like organizations, clubs, departments, mentorship, etc. In this month's Dear Danielle video, I will walk you through how to build and use Groups not only on the course level, but also for your account as a whole, and through the lens of a student.
