Canvas IOS App doesn’t allow language change

I go into settings and change the app language. When I open the app, it claims it needs to restart to change. When I relaunch the app, it’s still in Dutch. Any advice?

Hi @mschubel6 thanks for your question and sorry to hear about your mobile iOS language setting! The mobile app inherits the language selected in your user profile. However, based on your question, I sounds like you have re-set your preferred language and the change is not reflected in your mobile app.

My recommendation would be to log-out of the app entirely and then delete the "Canvas for iOS" Approved Integration token from your user setting page. Once the token has been deleted, try logging back into the app and you should see your preferred language displayed. If this does not work, the next step would be to contact with your school's administration to open a ticket with Canvas Support for additional assistance.
