Canvas app on macOS

Hi, I'm a student who just got started with Canvas and I love the Canvas Mobile app on my iOS devices, I'm wondering if there's a way to port Canvas Mobile or an app with similar functions to macOS?

I noticed @Kelvin_Dean raised this topic back in 2020, but no one seems to be looking into it anymore. First Look: Apple Silicon & Canvas Mobile

I think implementing Mac Catalyst or running the iPad version Canvas Mobile on Apple silicon Macs would both work well, although changes need to be made to optimize for macOS.

It would be great to have a native app instead of accessing Canvas through the web browsers, and it would be even better if you could bring features like push notifications to the Mac.
