Do quiz logs record usage of Slide Over feature on iPads?

A student in my class has a quiz log report of leaving their quiz a couple times during exam, but when questioned, the student stated that they accidentally kept swiping the Slide Over feature on their iPad over their screen while taking the exam in the app. Is this something that would get flagged by the quiz logs? I am trying to determine the academic honesty of the student’s statement.

Based on this previous discussion, I would assume it would log as leaving their exam, but I am not positive.
