Hide old courses in mobile version

Our students and parents are seeing old courses when they use the mobile version/app, even though we have archived them at the school level.  Is there a way to prevent this?  If not, what guidance can we give our students and parents to make this more user-friendly?

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with removing old courses from the canvas app. Students can manage  their  dashboard courses the same  on  a browser and mobile app:

There are multiple ways to end and remove  old courses from student access as well.  One one would be having an end  date on course settings and "restricting" student access after the end date. Another would be using  student access dates on the term  associated with the course. Hopefully this helps!
