IOS Widgets

I recently discovered that canvas supports IOS widgets. Currently the only widgets are to display announcements. Unfortunately most of my teachers do not use the announcements feature. I find that the to-do list and calendar features are more useful than the announcements feature as they automatically propagate with assignments and their due dates. I was wondering if canvas is looking to implement widgets for the to-do list or calendar. This would be greatly appreciated by me and my friends. I am sure that we are not the full extent of people who would benefit from to-do and calendar widgets.

I don't have an answer to this question, but here are some places to try:

• Canvas App Release Notes (keep an eye on what is launched in beta before it becomes available for everyone in production)
• Canvas Ideas and Themes (to recommend new features, gain support of those features, and (to an extent) track their development)
