Issue with new canvas update

Hello Instructure team. I just noticed that this new canvas update has a major flaw with the to-do list system. I can’t swipe done on any of them and the little red bubble doesn’t show on the app to tell me what I have completed. I literally have to scroll through all my assignments for the year to figure out what to submit and when. I don’t get why it has to be like this, please return it to the previous version. It’s really messing with student workflow.

I am not sure if this is related or not, but I saw this Known Issue re: To-Do lists and the iOS app that I thought I'd share with you:

[OPEN] [iOS] Student | To-do list is showing items up until year 4001

Again, I don't know if it is related at all, but I wanted to pass this link along just in case.

This needs to be fixed ASAP. My list got immediately cluttered with events and I can’t remove any of them! I don’t even know what’s actually due because it’s full of zoom meetings. Super disappointed because it just made my life harder 😐

I agree. This problem makes it quite difficult to find assignments you need to submit.

I agree with this so much. This has really took a toll on my workflow and it is upsetting. Please fix this Instructure team. So many students at my school are complaining, this is a big deal.

As of today, uninstalling and then reinstalling the app seems to fix the issue.
