So I have the app on my phone and iPad and I can open assignments, when its blank it has an option for a submit but when I fill in the assignment it no longer has the option for me to turn it in. Do I need to do something different or do I need to open canvas in my safari tab and do it that way or does it just not work on the phone and ipad, a computer is just to big and expensive for me and that's why i have my phone and iPad.

You may try turning in your assignment via a mobile browser of your choice, but if the issue still persists, you may reach out to support regarding the matter.
