My experience is that right now Canvas for iOS does not support basic grading functions like swiping to the next ungraded paper. So, yes, there is an app but it is missing key functionality that it had before. I don't know where it went or why it was removed but it is enormously frustrating.
Think carefully before investing time (or, God forbid, money like I did) in an iPad. It is likely to result in frustration and be a bigger time loss than a time win.
I am enormously frustrated w/ Instructure. I just don't understand some of their product planning decisions and really wish my school system would switch to another SIS provider.
