Canvas App Release Notes (iOS 8.2)

Canvas iOS app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users enrolled in automatic updates over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available, but iOS users can manually update the app at any time in the App Store. The Canvas iOS App requires iOS 17.0 or later.

Canvas App Updates

  • Discussion Checkpoints display in the Assignment and Discussion lists.
  • Support introduced for the restricted user access feature.
  • The reply button in Inbox’s navigation bar behaves correctly and no longer adds all recipients.
  • The front page displays as expected in all cases.
  • File links from rich content open reliably.
  • Career: Push Notifications available.
  • Career: Report a Bug feature available.
