Canvas Student Release Notes (Android 7.1)

In Canvas Student 7.1, students can reorder course cards on the Dashboard. Additionally, the late penalty label color is updated in Assignment Details.

Canvas Android app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available as an update in the Play Store. The Canvas Student Android app requires Android 8.0 or later.

Rearrange Course Cards

Students can reorder course cards by dragging and dropping them into their preferred sequence.

To reorder course cards, tap, move and release a course card, then drag the card to the desired order.
