In Canvas Teacher 1.20, teachers can attach files in submission comments and manage their email notification preferences in their settings. Additionally, the workflow for uploading multiple files has been updated.
Canvas Android app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available as an update in the Play Store. The Canvas Teacher Android App requires Android 8.0 or later.
Teachers can attach files in submission comments. Tap the Attach icon [1], select the upload option where your file is located [2], and then tap the Upload link [3].

In user settings, teachers can manage their email notification preferences. To manage an email notification preference, tap the name of the email notification preference.
