Canvas Teacher Release Notes (Android 1.42)

Canvas Android app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available as an update in the Play Store. The Canvas Teacher Android App requires Android 8.0 or later.

Teacher App Updates

  • The Edit Folder screen supports scrolling for improved navigation.
  • Visual alignment on the profile picture crop screen has been refined.
  • Inbox signature behavior has been updated to prevent display inconsistencies.
  • Inbox improvements.
  • Reporting a problem proceeds as expected without interruption.
  • Student submission file previews in New Quizzes load correctly without errors.
