How can I put accent marks on Canvas and how can I provide it for my Spanish students?

Hope all is well. Thank you for sharing your question with us. 

• If you or your students are using a smart device/iPad/phone, you just hold the letter and usually you will get a pop-up selection accents.
• On a non-mobile browser, you can use alt codes for accents.
• Also, computers often have character maps (not on Macs).

You can also switch "keyboards" (not the physical keyboard, but changing it from EN (English language keyboard setting) to INT (international keyboard).

To easily allow users to insert non-standard characters into the Canvas rich content editor there is the Special Characters external tool that adds a button to the editor to allow characters to be inserted.
