Access Denied When Downloading a File In Safari

Hello everyone,

Just recently, I've started having an issue when I try and download a file submission from a student in SpeedGrader. I get an "Access Denied: Access to this page is limited to authorized users. You do not currently have permission to view this page" error. As the Instructor of the course, and given that I've never had this issue before, this came as a surprise!

I'm on a Mac and it happens when I am using Safari, but does not happen on Chrome. So, the easy solution is obviously to change browsers which I am doing for the time being, but I prefer Safari, so I am hoping there is another solution.

I'm on Safari 15 (latest version) and I just cleared my history/cache as well, with no luck.

Thank you to anyone who has any ideas.

This is due to a new enabled-by-default option in Safari, “prevent cross-site tracking”. Turning this off fixed our issue.
