Add User

I'd like to add a user to my course.  However, the Add People button is not available now (course has ended).  How can I add someone so that they have access to the course?

Hi michelle rossi,

Welcome to the Canvas Community! You've already provided the troubleshooting to solve the issue by saying that the course has ended.

If you have permissions, temporarily change the end date of your course from Course Settings > Details. Add the person, put the date back to the original.

I've had to use this trick a couple times myself when I suddenly wondered why I couldn't add someone to an old course to show them how I had done it before.
