Adding same SIS ID to a number of courses?

We use VETTRAK as our SMS and i would like to know if there is a way to use the same SIS ID in different course sections so that all Courses are linked to the same occurrence?  or do i have to have all the Units of competencies in the one course?

The SIS_ID is unique so this is not possible as far as I know.

 @lars_vemund_sol ‌ is right. Each course and each section needs a unique SIS ID. Typically the section number is included in the ID, not just the course number, as this is rarely unique. (The ID also typically includes a term identifier.)

You may want to look into cross-listing to achieve what you're trying to do. If you are not an admin at your school, you'll likely want to speak with one before proceeding.
