[ARCHIVED] Announcement not displaying "Posted on" date

I have an instructor who has imported all his old announcements into his new course. He then edits them to set a Delay Posting date.

Up until Sept 23rd, those announcements included a "Posted on" date to the right on the main announcement page. Starting on Sept 30th, there is no "Posted on" date. He followed the same process for all of his announcements, editing the original announcement, setting a Delay Posting date and then savings, but the 3 newest announcements do not show a "Posted on" date like all his others.

Is there any reason anyone can think of that would cause this, or should I submit a support ticket?

Yes, I figured out the problem.  The instructor was backdating some of the announcements.  The ones set to open in the future included the "posted on" date.  The ones backdated to look like they opened earlier did not have the "posted on" date.  Thanks for checking back!

 @kona ‌ -- Hi Kona, I'm looking at a course for an instructor and see that two early announcements do not display a "Posted on" date. Is it possible that those two announcements were posted prior to the course being published? I don't understand what might be triggering a Posted on date and what might cause it to be left empty.
