Is there a way to post either a discussion or an announcement where students can reply anonymously? I would like to get some feedback from them and believe they'd be more willing to share their ideas/needs if it were anonymous.

Hi  @amerlo  Welcome to the Canvas Community. Unfortunately, this is not possible in Canvas. There are others who would like this, as well, and I encourage you to vote "up" and, if you like, comment on the following feature idea: https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/1117-anonymous-discussion-forums  .
