[ARCHIVED] Assignment locked

Hi

My students have an urgent assignment to do within a limited time span. I published it with availability from 8am to 11pm December 2020. However, it keeps on saying the assignment is locked. I tried to edit it several times but I still get the same message

This is very unfrtunate.

Please advise as a matter of urgency.

Does it use the word "locked". or is it saying it's unavailable.  Here are a few things to check, 

Make sure the assignment isn't in a module with a release date set or a module prerequisite. If it's saying it's locked, I'm betting this is the issue.

Make sure you haven't set an "Available from" date in the assign to group.

You did state that its available "8am to 11pm December 2020.", but you didn't list a date, that makes me think something isn't set correctly.
