Basic Canvas Training

What is the best way to train a new instructor on canvas? Can I connect with a live trainer?

There are some really good tutorials online that I can point you to:

• Set Up Your Canvas Course in 30 minutes or Less
• Canvas LMS Tutorials for Online Teaching - YouTube (this is a video playlist from Ashlee Espinosa which I've seen several people mention here in the Community)

Give those videos a try first.  Then, if you want to watch other videos about the tools available here in the Canvas Community, you can check out:

I hope these links will be helpful to you as you get started with Canvas.  You might also check with your school's Canvas administration team to see if they are aware of any additional training opportunities.  Good luck!
