I AM TRYING TO PUT A GOOGLE SLIDE PRESENTATION ON TO A PAGE AS PART OF A LESSON PLAN FOR EASY ACCESS FOR ME AND FOR STUDENTS THAT MAY BE ABSENT, SO THEY CAN STILL TAKE NOTES AND NOT GET BEHIND.

Hi Kendra,

There are a couple of ways to do this depending on what features your school has enabled in Canvas.  The method I'll share is not the simplest one; but it should work no matter how your Canvas is set up.

  • Open your presentation in Google Slides
  • Click on the menu item File, Publish to the web
  • Click on the Publish button.
  • Under link, select and copy the URL that is displayed.
  • Now in Canvas paste that URL where you are supposed to submit it. This should work for an assignment or a discussion in Canvas since the presentation has been Published; anyone with the link will be able to view it.
