[ARCHIVED] Can my students upload podcasts to Canvas?

I am planning to assign a podcast assignment to my Fall course, and I'd like to know if they can be uploaded via Canvas, and if so is there a particular format that is necessary? A part of the assignment is to produce a transcript (which I know can be uploaded as a word document), it is the audio that I am curious about.

Yes, you can have your students upload audio and text files to Canvas, either to share with each other or just with you.  You could have them use a program such as Audacity and have them upload the audio to Canvas as an .Mp3 file for example.
