Canvas profile

Hello,

I had a Canvas profile picture that was perfectly fine and it has now disappeared. I am not able to upload it again.  What explain this?

I find it bothersome that something like this could change without my approval. Now there's a way to take a photo there, which I did not need in the first place. This is a case of "if it's not broke, why fix it?"  PLEASE STOP doing this kind of thing mid-semester when we don't have time to deal with it.

Hi @sjsiena ...

I'm not 100% certain of this, but I don't think this is an issue with just your Canvas account today.  I am a Canvas administrator at an art school in Detroit, and today I noticed that my Canvas profile picture was broken as well.  I have not changed my profile picture in quite some time, so I am not sure why it was not appearing today.  If you want, you can use the "Help" icon on the left-hand global navigation menu of Canvas, and then click on "Report a Problem" to submit a ticket to Canvas Tech Support.  They will help you with the ticket you submit and keep you posted on when things are fixed...or if they are aware of the issue.  Here's more information for you: How do I get help with Canvas?
