[ARCHIVED] Captivate Presentation Videos issue

Videos in captivate htm presentation file no longer work.  Worked fine until yesterday!  Also have a problem with using chrome as the browser.  Files open ok in Edge and Explorer?  Not working in Safari.  Not sure about Firefox or Mozilla....

 @valla020 ‌ - did you submit a support ticket to Canvas for this issue? I'm curious to know if you got it resolved. Also, was it just the Captivate presentations that wouldn't work in Chrome or Safari, or files in general?

I do have a ticket in that they are still working on. The Captivate zipped

presentation files would show blank pages any where there was a video.

They all worked in Edge but only the Index.html files worked in Chrome,

Firefox and Safari. Nothing worked well in Internet Explorer. I was given

alot of different answers - the new security updates don't like Flash, the

new security update limited file sizes, its a shockwave issue....

Basically they really don't know why it broke and suggested I switch to

using SCORM 1.2 ungraded assignment uploads. Those are working as long as

I have the latest version of Flash installed for every browser. We are

switching to SCORM uploads!

This was never answered except with the response that it was broken and to

do it a different way. Fine to mark as answered.
