Change Name

I have made several attempts to edit my name to include my new last name.  When I go to settings and click on edit profile, it does not allow me to change my name.  Why is that?

Hi,  @maricela_gonzal ‌,

Thank you for posting your question. Updating your name may or may not be possible depending on the permissions that your school's Canvas admins have set for your Canvas environment. You may need to contact someone at your school to see if they could update your name for you.
